<p>A personal service provider  is a cc, co or trust two or less employees ( plus the business owners) with  that :</p>
<p>renders a personal service  to a client or where the services are mainly on the clients premises or  80% of the income of the business comes from one source.</p>
<p>If your cc or co falls into the above your deductions in the business are circumscribed,  you pay  tax at 5% more than a normal business, and the client must deduct PAYE . Phew! Tough!</p>
<p>What to do? Easy speak to Anderson Whittle ( Mark 021 5576438) about their  two Outsource options – both with track records going back before 2000AD – one of them will be great for you!</p>

<p>Two in three British workers have experienced a pay freeze in one of the last three years.  And only one in three is expecting an increase this years. And this increase</p>
<p>will only be 2% less than half the inflation rate. Its clear that things will be tough in the UK in 2012. In SA ? Inflation is said to be 6%, but food prices are skyrocketing while property prices are decreasing. Salaries in SA? We expect overall  a 4% increase….substantially less than inflation! It’s tough here as well as in Euprope!</p>

<p><strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">1. When applying</span></em></strong></p>
<p>Don&#8217;t put your work number and work email on a CV. This tells the prospective hirer that you don’t mind doing personal business on company time and do they really want that if you are at their company?</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2. Don’t apply for one contract at a time</span></strong></p>
<p>Don’t do it.  Having several irons in the fire keeps in the market and certainly don’t do a shotgun email general resume to everything and everybody.  That will backfire. And don’t apply for advertised contracts where you can’t meet the start date.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">3. Don’t take the job description as gospel</span></strong></p>
<p>About a quarter of advertised task or contract descriptions are inaccurate. If you feel like you meet some of the criteria, emphasize that in your resume or cover letter. But the core criteria or mandatory requirements in the ad must be met.</p>
<p><strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">BUT DO:</span></em></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">4. Enquire about your progress after a week or so</span></strong></p>
<p>And thank the co. for the interview as well. A short enquiry call, note or email is polite and is something that keeps your name in the forefront of the interviewer’s mind for this and other contracts. But don’t do it more than once.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">5. Invest in your CV</span></strong></p>
<p>This must be professionally done and needs to be short. Use bulleted points and add your details in Active voice (“I”). You may be a great professional Java engineer contractor, but you probably are an amateur CV writer.<strong><em> Get professional help, now!</em></strong></p>

<div><span>Understanding the differences between generations is useful in  communicating with people from different age cohorts. It is also vital for employers to understand the different generations so that they know how to recruit and retain people from different generations.</span></div>
<p><span>Generation Y is not interested in the same work-life balance that their older co-workers are interested in. Those more seasoned generations are interested in a more harsh separation between work life and personal life. They prefer to leave work at work and check their personal lives at the company’s front door. I see younger workers less interested in a harsh separation and actually prefer to integrate personal and work into one entity, I guess we could just call that ‘life’. I want to be able to work from wherever, whenever. The thought is that work is something that you do, not a place that you go. I want to take personal phone calls while I’m at work, access my personal email, and better yet, access to members of my personal life.</p>
